Restoring Broken Lives Through God’s Words

About Us

Zion redemption is a nonprofit 501 (C)(3) organization founded by Anthony T. Brown to serve the community and reestablish those who have been incarcerated in Harris County Jail in Houston, Texas.

We are dedicated to fulfilling 2 Timothy 2:15:

"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

Hebrews 13:3

Remember those in prison, as if you were there yourself.

Matthew 25:36

I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.

This incredible responsibility means individual teachers, ministers, and leaders must seek not the approval of people, but the approval of God. An unashamed worker can present his or her life and ministry to God, knowing that He will approve the quality of work.

Approval of one's ministry before God will depend on how well one has proclaimed, explained, and applied the word of truth. We must teach and preach the Gospel and allow His Word to cut a straight path and do nothing to hinder it.

Our Mission

The objective of Zion Redemption ("Zion") is to direct the process of human development toward God's objective for man: godliness of character and action. It bends its efforts to the end "that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works" (II Tim. 3:17)

We aim to reach and influence the world by teaching men the canons of truth that they may have a renewed mindset to be empowered to lead and impact themselves and others in every sphere of life.

Our Vision

Zion Redemption sets forth to build upon a foundation of diversity to support, nurture, and empower communities and individuals of all ages and secure a better quality of life.

Using a combination of resource development, collaboration with service providers, and the power of media, we admonish our communities to use the talents, time, and money they have to help others.

We encourage you to serve with us, especially if you are  have a desire to use your God-given gifts and abilities for the betterment of mankind.
